Vocabulary Development Foundational Words: Greetings, colors, numbers, days, months, family, classroom objects, food, animals, clothing, and weather. Expanded Themes (Middle School): Hobbies, daily routines, emotions, places in the community, travel, technology, and health. 2. Grammar Essentials Articles (el, la, un, una) Noun-adjective agreement (gender and number) Subject pronouns (yo, tú, él, etc.) Verb conjugations: Regular, irregular (ser, estar, tener, ir), and reflexive verbs Ser vs. estar usage Negative sentences and commands Prepositions, conjunctions, possessive and demonstrative adjectives 3.
